Gene will be missed terribly and I will cherish our Christian Friendship. Gene loved to send crazy Birthday cards and he could really pick good ones. He always teased me about my trips to China and he was so brave too with his illness, kept a smile on his sweet face. I know he is waiting for us all to join him when our time here is over. Love You Gene!!

Your quick wit and smile will always be a treasured memory for me; the twinkle in your eyes as you told a joke with a completely straight face made me crack up! My family has been blessed to call you "Friend" over the years, I have a feeling the angels in Heaven are having more fun with you there; I look forward to seeing you again one day, dear friend.

Our time here on earth is relatively short; He has only given us awhile to make a good report. Diligence is due to Him for compensation; make good use of all your conversation. As our years wane, we must be ever fervent; so we can hear "Well done, My good and faithful servant".

I will always remember the kind way he always treated me and the respect he gave to all; even when the waters got turbulent. He talked the talk and walked the walk with honor. I am blessed to have known him the short time we had together and will miss his wit and humor. As a wandering man, I know he looks forward to his exciting journey ahead. My heartfelt condolences I freely give to you Kathy and Todd.
