Delores Dorothy (Eckert) Baker
age 68 passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 25 2012 at St Luke's Hospital, Milwaukee. Delores was born in Wausau, WI to the late Rudolph and Dorothy (Gresl) Eckert. She graduated from UW Stevens Point in 1966 with her Bachelors of Science in Secondary Education. She later went on to receive her Masters of Science in Home Economics and Guidance and Counseling from UW Stout in 1992. She spent the beginning of her teaching career in Tucson, Arizona. After which she taught at various schools in Wisconsin. Delores was happiest gardening, sewing, traveling, cooking, and spending time with her daughters and grandson.
She will be sadly missed by her daughters Christina (Jeff) Ramsey, and Susan (Chris) Leffel, grandson Timothy Ramsey, sisters Geri (Tom) Pulse, Ann Eckert, Laurie (Todd) Trapp, brothers Ray (Geraldine) Eckert, Tony (Cheryl) Eckert, sister in law Maureen Eckert. She was preceded in death by her daughter Amy Baker, brothers James Eckert and Don Eckert, and sister Marianne Eaton-Lewis.
Funeral services were arranged by Molthen-Bell & Son Funeral home and held on Monday, July 30th at St. Stephen's Church, Oak Creek. We would like to thank the St. Stephen's Church for their assistance in planning. Visit www.molthenbell.com for further information.

Cathy Bunke
Delores and I were classmates during grade school. We actually got together and visited the World's Fair in San Antonio in the 60's. I lost contact with her until the day of her Mom's funeral when we again reconnected. I am really sorry to hear about her untimely passing. In all of the pictures, her smile is contagious.
