Dena K. Glunz, 89, of Eldridge, passed away on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at the Kahl Home in Davenport. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, December 23, 2016 in the Runge Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Private burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to charity of the donor's choice. Online condolences may be expressed at www.rungemortuary.com.
She was employed by Northwestern Bell for 34 years. On February 9, 1957 she married Eldon Glunz in Bellevue, Iowa. He preceded her in death in 1976.
Survivors include her brother, Albert Knake and two sisters, Meta Arrington and Minnie Knake. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.

We are so sorry for the loss of Dena. You are in our thoughts & prayers. Dena was such a beautiful soul & we have cherished the years that we have spent together. She will be deeply missed. Minnie, you were the best sister to Dena. So kind & always taking care of her. Thank you. And Dena, I know that you are in Heaven with Eldon. I love you & thank you for being like another mother to me.
