Denise was one of the most remarkable women I have ever known. She was a pioneer in establishing rights for handicapped children. The Grove's are all together again. I am blessed to have known and loved them.

Denise was a devoted mother and wife, a smart-as-a whip advocate for people with mental disablilities, and an indefatigable model of a woman who could be lovely and very strong, supporting and leading many of us as we cherish and care for children at risk. We were blessed by knowing her.
