Funeral services for Dennis Louis Schulze 75, of Killeen will be on Thursday, August 1, 2013 at 10 AM at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Killeen. Burial will follow at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Killeen. Rev. Ray Zischang will officiate at the services. Mr. Schulze passed away on July 24, 2013 in Temple. He was born July 5, 1938 in Killeen to Robert and Frieda Fabian Schulze. He grew up on a farm on the west side of Killeen, he had four brothers and 1 sister. He loved fishing, football and gardening. He was born July 5, 1938 in Killeen to Robert and Frieda Fabian Schulze. He grew up on a farm on the west side of Killeen, he had four brothers and 1 sister. He loved fishing, football and gardening. He was active in the FFA at Killeen High School where he graduated in 1956. He also attended Texas Tech University for 2 years. He married Mary Jo Schneider in September 24, 1960 at Immanuel Lutheran church in Killeen. They have one son, Gene, born to their union.

He served in the Air Force from 1960 to 1963 at Amarillo Air Force Base and attained the rank Senior Airman. He worked for the US Postal service for 31 years as a mail carrier before retiring. He was a lift time member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church and served on the church counsel.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Howard.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Jo. Son Gene and his wife Monique, brothers Marvin, Eldon and Weldon and a sister Marie Buchholz, grandchildren Shawndi, McKenzie and Shelby and great grandchild Kerstin.

There will be a time of visitation at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen on Wednesday, July 31,2013 from 6-8- PM.
