He will be greatly missed by his mother Lorraine, step father Brian Godding and sister Kitrina Godding. He will be greatly missed by his mother Lorraine, step father Brian Godding and sister Kitrina Godding. His is survived and missed by his uncles Dave (Dale) Sewell, Robert (Lori) Sewell, David (Sue) Godding, Ron Godding, Donald (Yorfany) Godding, Bruce Godding, Mark (Cathy) Godding, and Lloyd Godding. Additional family being his grandmother Dorothy Jean Godding, various cousins, Kristi Sutherland and her 4 children and Dennis Brett Shoff (father). Shawn has many close friends and colleagues who loved and adored him. He has spent most of his career in the restaurant and bar business; he was currently employed at the Buffalo Club #53. Shawn enjoyed hanging out with his friends, spending time in the country, golfing,his computer and attending hockey games. He was a son that any parent would be proud to say he's mine and he will not be forgotten by all those who loved him. Visitation will be 6 – 8 pm on Thursday July 5, in A. L. Mattatall Funeral Home. Memorial service will be 11 am Friday July 6, in Grace United Church 70 King Street. Rev. Stephen Fram officiating. A celebration of his life will be held at the Buffalo Club #53 located at 2 Wentworth Street in Dartmouth to follow after the ceremony.
