Suddenly at his residence in Lindsay on Monday, October 9th, 2017 at 36 years of age. Beloved son of Rob and Cindy Thompson. Cherished brother of Kerri and Sherri. Dear father of Conner. Loving grandson of Helen and Russ Smith and uncle to Glenn and Patrick. Derek will be fondly remembered by Stacey, his many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Visitation will be held at the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Saturday, October 14th from 2:00 p.m. until time of Celebration of Life in the Chapel at 3:00 p.m. Memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
