Diane C. Gittman, 72, of Manakin Sabot, VA. Loving wife, mother, grandmother departed this life to be with the angels on January 13, 2015, She was born to the late Harry and Irene Fleming, Sr. on November 8, 1942. Diane was a registered nurse at Beaumont Correctional. She was preceded in death by her sister Margaret Covington and a brother Harry (Flip) Fleming Jr. Diane is survived by her beloved husband of 50 years Howard E. Gittman, her children; Howard E Gittman, Jr. (Lynne) Susan Renee Larry, Debra Mae Vickers (Bobby), and Shirley Faye Rexrode. Grandchildren; Logan-Ann Gittman, Peyton –Ann Gittman, Devin Pettiford, Jason Rollins, Joshua Rollins, Brandon Patenaude, and Erika Kenney. And three great grandchildren; Brandon (Beau) Patenaude, Paislee Patenaude and Jordan Kenney. One sister Kathryn (Kitty) Durity
The family will receive friends Friday, January 16, 2015 at 10:00am. at Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Road, Richmond . Her funeral will begin at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Greenwood Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association – Greater Richmond Chapter, 4600 Cox Rd. Suite 130 Glen Allen, VA 23060.
