Funeral services for Diane Arkontaky Ledbetter, 67, of Anniston, will be 2 pm Thursday, March 6, 2014 at Eulaton First United Methodist Church with Rev. Abbi Wilke and Rev. Jeff Brooks officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 12 – 2 pm at the church. Mrs. Ledbetter died Monday at her residence. Survivors include her husband, James H. "Jimmy" Knight, one daughter, Lorrie Beth White (Ben), one son, Charles Christopher Ledbetter (Jennifer), mother, Geraldine T. Arkontaky, brother, Nick Arkontaky (Betty), six grandchildren, Alexis and Nathan White, Alex and Diamond Ledbetter,...

Survivors include her husband, James H. "Jimmy" Knight, one daughter, Lorrie Beth White (Ben), one son, Charles Christopher Ledbetter (Jennifer), mother, Geraldine T. Arkontaky, brother, Nick Arkontaky (Betty), six grandchildren, Alexis and Nathan White, Alex and Diamond Ledbetter, Hunter and Ashley Pointer.

Mrs. Ledbetter is preceded in death by her father, Charles N. Arkontaky

Pallbearers will be Jeff Huddleston, Robert Champion, Tommy Davis, Clete Lloyd, Richard Ward, Shannon Smothers, Trent Stewart and Robbie Callahan.

Mrs. Ledbetter was a native of Mt. Vernon, New York and a resident of Anniston for most of her life. She was a member of Eulaton United Methodist Church and a member of the church choir. She was a graduate of Walter Wellborn High School, Class of 1965. Mrs. Ledbetter retired from Ft. McClellan after 24 years of service.
