Obituary

Dianne Lee Richmond, of Lake Jackson, passed away on Saturday, November 18, 2017 in her home surrounded by her loving children. She was born in Corpus Christi, TX on December 8, 1931 and grew up in La Marque, TX. She was the daughter of the late Howard and Irene Warwick. Dianne married Walter "Reid" Richmond in September of 1950. Dianne worked for 22 years as a nurse at Brazosport Memorial Hospital and 5 years in Pediatric Home Health. She loved her family, animals, nature and traveling. Dianne loved babies and when her children were no longer babies she became a pediatric nurse. She was a Master Naturalist and volunteered at Gulf Coast...
Dianne Lee Richmond, of Lake Jackson, passed away on Saturday, November 18, 2017 in her home surrounded by her loving children.
She was born in Corpus Christi, TX on December 8, 1931 and grew up in La Marque, TX. She was the daughter of the late Howard and Irene Warwick. Dianne married Walter "Reid" Richmond in September of 1950.
Dianne worked for 22 years as a nurse at Brazosport Memorial Hospital and 5 years in Pediatric Home Health.
She loved her family, animals, nature and traveling. Dianne loved babies and when her children were no longer babies she became a pediatric nurse. She was a Master Naturalist and volunteered at Gulf Coast Bird Observatory, Brazoria County Disaster Relief and Safety Town. She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church.
Dianne was preceded in death by her husband, Reid; and grandson, David McDaniel.
She is survived by her seven children, Rob Richmond of Raleigh, NC, Michael Ann Stiles of Lake Jackson, Cindy Groseth (Allen) of Brazoria, Debbie Richmond, Sandra Donnell (Steve) of Damon, Mary White (Dave) of Southlake and Chris Richmond of Lake Jackson; grandchildren, Angie Solomon, Melissa Stiles, Raymond Stiles (Nicole), Nicolas Hover (Tauk), Mandy Meador (Blake), Josh White, Jake White and Camdon Richmond; twelve great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren; sister, Pattie Hill of Austin; brothers, Roger Warwick (Sherry) of Stephenville and Jim Warwick (Joyce) of Houston; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, November 22 at 2:00 p.m. at Restwood Dignity Funeral Home, 1038 W. Plantation Dr., Clute, TX.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in her memory to the or Gulf Coast Bird Observatory.
