It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to a beloved husband and father, devoted nonno, son, brother, and zio. Dino passed away peacefully with family by his side. He leaves behind Diana, his loving wife of 51 years; daughters Patty (Larry) Jepsen, Dina (Ed) Zacharuk, grandchildren Colin, Carly, Katie, Amanda, and Markus; brother/sister-in-law Aldo and Marlene Venier; nephews, their families, and many friends. In Italy, he is survived by his beloved mother Irma, sister Dina, zia Bruna, nieces, and cousins.
Dino was born in Vazzola, Italy. At 19, he came to Canada and eventually worked at Mott Electric for over 30 years. He was a world traveller, avid fisherman, and supportive grandfather. Dino was an Honorary Member of the Italian Mutual Aid Society with 56 years of involvement. Our sincerest thanks to the staff at St. Michael's Hospice for their loving care and support. Prayer service to be held at 7:30 pm on Thursday, May 2nd at Our Lady of Mercy Parish, 7455 10th Ave., Burnaby; Funeral Mass the next day at 10:30 am, with reception to follow at Queen's Park Centennial Lodge & Rose Garden, First Street at Third Avenue, New Westminster, BC.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the BC Cancer Foundation would be appreciated. "Dino: always loved, forever remembered".

"The Fisherman's Prayer" God grant that I may fish until my dying days. And when I come to my last cast, I'll then most humbly pray. When in the Lord's safe landing net, I'm perfectly asleep, That in His Mercy I'll be judged as good enough to keep."
Dino you certainly are a "Keeper".

I will always remember Dino's friendship and the many great times we spent skiing, fishing and having our friendly disagreements....this was the catalyst that held us together as friends for over 50 years. It is difficult to accept that Dino is gone. His friendship set a precedent and will never be replaced.
My condolences to Diana and family...Dino was a great husband, father, nonno and friend to all.

Dino will always be remembered by those of us at mott electric as a great leader, mentor and friend. His constant search for innovation and improved productivity directly effected the organization we are today and I will never be able to ride sky train without a smile thinking about the times we shared on those projects. On behalf of all of us at Mott Electric our condolences to Diana and family.
