Dionisia Patricia Murillo, 76, passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2013. Funeral services and a celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church. Burial will be at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with Father Daniel Ter Melaba officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the mass at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Peter Claver Church, 133 Ward St., Macon GA 31201.
Ms. Murillo was born in Guayaquil, Ecuador to the late Jacinto Murillo and Aurora Meza Murillo. She was a retired nurse with Lennox Hill Hospital in New York and was a member of St. Peter Claver Catholic Church. Patricia was very involved in her community at Pinegate. She was a very devoted and loving, mother, grandmother, and sister.
She is survived by her children, Danielle (Nasser) Tehrani of Macon, Manny (Johanna) Muniz of Stroudsburg, PA, six grandchildren, Amanda, Janna, and Samantha Muniz, Eric, Alexis and Hunter Tehrani, two sisters, Isabel and Pilar Murillo of Ecuador and several nieces and nephews.
