Dolores S. Snyder, 82, of Hayward, WI died Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at her home.
Dolores Sophie Zebrowski was born February 11, 1930 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Teofil and Stella (Gogat) Zebrowski. She graduated from St. Bridgett's High School in Chicago and went to work as an insurance agent for Reliance Insurance Company. On November 11, 1961 Dolores was joined in marriage to John Chester Snyder in Chicago. She continued her work in Chicago as an insurance agent for Travelers Insurance. In 1979, Dolores and John purchased Y-Pine Bar and Restaurant near Hayward which they operated with their son Mark. She also worked for 12 years in the Marketplace Deli Department. Dolores was very family oriented and enjoyed bowling, fishing on the pontoon with John, reading mysteries and playing Powerball.
She is survived by her son Mark Snyder of Hayward; step granddaughter, Kathryn (Rob) Elliot of Rainier, WA; two step great grandchildren, Kyden and Brylynn Elliot; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband John; her parents; and sisters, Irene Kaczoroski and Janine Wojtowicz.

We are sorry to hear of Dolores leaving this world. We always enjoyed speaking with her regarding polish traditions and food, especially pierogi.

So sorry to hear about your mother. I worked with her at Marketplace IGA, in the Deli Department for alittle while. I also seen her come in the LCO IGA store a few times, where I was employed. She was a sweet lady, and was a joyful to work with! She will be missed dearly! Roxanne Isham

Mark, I am so sorry for your loss. Sometimes God gives us more than we think we can handle, but you now have two special angels in heaven who will still watch over you and care for you.
