Dominika S. Carroll-Brooks of Midwest City OK Jan. 31, 1932 - Sept. 11th, 2017
Dominika Sophie Carroll-Brooks, known as Mini, passed away surrounded by loved ones and into the arms of the Lord. She was born to Paul Wietzel and Philappine Zöeler in Otterbach, Germany. She graduated with a degree in Nursing from the University of Munich and immigrated to the United States in 1956 after marrying her first husband O.L. Carroll. Mini loved traveling especially cruises, was an avid bowler and member of the local ladies Red Hat Society. She is survived by her husband Col. Glenn L. Brooks, son John Carroll and wife Cheryl of Columbia, SC, son Paul Carroll and wife Rebecca of Lehi, UT, step-son Gary Brooks and wife Ann, step-son Spencer Brooks and wife Patricia, grandchildren Jonathan, Jennifer, step-grandchildren Kathryn, Michael A., Reid, Lois Marie, Michael L.; also her brother Hubert Wietzel and sister Gerlinde Loesel who both still reside in Germany. She leaves behind many friends in the community and beyond. Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Wednesday Sept. 13 2017 from 5 - 8 p.m. and a funeral service on Thursday, Sept. 14th, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Bill Eisenhower Funeral Home, 5005 SE 29th Street in Del City. Burial to follow at Arlington Memory Gardens in Oklahoma City.
