Donald Jack Anderson, 85, went home to be with his Lord Dec. 7, 2012. He is preceded in death by his mother, Myra Sieffert; step-father, Donald Sieffert; and father, Harry Anderson. Survived by children, Karen (David) Armstrong, Palmer, AK, Terry (Kim) Mackey, Pueblo, CO, and Jerry (Karen) Anderson, Loveland, CO; grandchildren, Joshua (Linda) Armstrong, Rebecca (Richard) Hawkins, Sarah (Scott) Porter, Kelly (Zachary) Stanifer, and Weston Mackey; and seventeen great-grandchildren. Donald served in the United States Marine Corps during WWII and the Korean War and retired from Mt. Bell after 30 years of service. He was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America; the Communications Workers of America; BPOE #90; and American Legion Post #2. Funeral Service 2:00 p.m. Wed., Dec. 13, 2012 at Imperial Funeral Home, with private interment to follow. Donations in his memory may be made to Frontier Hospice through the funeral home. Special thanks to Sharmar Village Chateau and Nursing Home and Frontier Hospice for your care. Your kindness made our journey a blessing.

To the Anderson family. Our deepest condolences. Jack was a great neighbour and on the few wonderful occasions we got to visit at length, I will never forget his stories of the war, Pueblo friendships and childhood stories. The images of the war he invoked were heartbreaking. Blessings to your family.
