Donald John Henrichs, 86, of Van Buren, passed away Friday, June 16, 2017 at his home. He was born June 22, 1930 in Minneota, MN to the late George and Mabel Henrichs. Born in Minneota, but raised in Watertown, SD, he enjoyed farm work and bronco riding until joining the Navy. He served on the U.S.S. Manchester during the Korean War. He then raised his family in Southern California. Coming from a very large family, he loved family gatherings. He was a construction superintendent, and retired to Anacortes, WA.
He is survived by two daughters, Ramona Seubold and Rhonda Chambers, both of Van Buren; two sisters, Blondie Nogelmeier and Faye Schaack, both of Watertown, SD; a brother, Frank Henrichs of Ontario, OR; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
