Donald "Donnie" Lee Peters, 66, of Gahanna, passed away on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at Continuing Healthcare of Gahanna. He was born on November 16, 1950 in Mount Vernon, OH, a son to the late Donald and Doris (Dague) Peters. Donald is a graduate of Johnstown High School, class of 1968. He served as a Sergeant in the Army during the Vietnam War and was a life member of VFW #9857. Donald is survived by his sister, Dottie Burns; brother, Dave (Claudia) Peters; son, Michael Peters; six grandchildren; aunt, Bertie Smith; uncle, Harry "Dick" Dague; nieces, nephews and numerous cousins. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his daughter, Dawn Marie Peters. Memorial service will be at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, September 15, 2017 at CROUSE-KAUBER-FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, 225 N. Main St., Johnstown, OH 43031, with Terry Schaffer officiating.
