Obituary

Donald H. Anderson, 81, of Lynnville, passed away Tuesday, June 10, 2014, at his home. He was born October 11, 1932, in Evansville, to the late Raymond and Alvena (Kopp) Anderson. He retired in 1993 as a Teamster Driver for Industrial Contractors and served in the US Marine Corps during the Korean War. He was a member of Boonville Assembly of God and Calvary Temple. He enjoyed working at the food bank at church and was a bus driver for the West Side Assembly of God. He was a loving and giving father. Donald H. Anderson, 81, of Lynnville, passed away Tuesday, June 10, 2014, at his home. He was born October 11, 1932, in Evansville, to the late Raymond and Alvena (Kopp) Anderson.

He retired in 1993 as a Teamster Driver for Industrial Contractors and served in the US Marine Corps during the Korean War. He was a member of Boonville Assembly of God and Calvary Temple. He enjoyed working at the food bank at church and was a bus driver for the West Side Assembly of God. He was a loving and giving father.

Donald was preceded in death by his daughter, Deborah Schumaker; granddaughter, Tara Dawn; and great-grandchild, Larry Chaffin.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Shirley (Paceley) Anderson; son, Donald (Beth) Anderson of Evansville; daughters, Donna Kelley (Kenneth Willard) of Lynnville and Doris Hughes of Odon, IN; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother, Robert (Jackie) Anderson of Evansville; and brother-in-law, Robert (Lisa) Paceley of South Dakota.

Services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, June 14, 2014, at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Rev. Kristopher Brown, with burial in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit Friday from 2:00 to 8:00 PM and Saturday from 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
