Donald D. Ashton, age 79, died July 22, 2011. Beloved husband of Beverly. Dearest father of David H., Denise Ashton and Darlene (Michael) Weirauch. Loving grandfather of Brett and Reid Weirauch. Dear brother of Ruth Closser. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Donald retired from the US Post Office in 1988 after 38 years of dedicated service. Visitation Sunday 2-6 pm at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield, Clinton Township. Funeral Monday 1 pm at the funeral home. Please share a memory of Donald at www.kaul-funeral.com.

I was so saddened to receive the news about Don, I keep seeing his smileing face as he and Bev would be out and about. Please know how much I wish I could attend the services for Don but I am unable to at this time. My thoughts and prayers are with you Bev and hopefully I will see you soon.
