Eileen & Bill Spreeman

Our sympathy. I worked with Don at 3M during the 1950's. He and Marion attended our wedding and helped Bill with his first "married" tax return. He loved his family - so proud of his children; always had a project going. May he rest in peace.

The May family was fortunate to have grown up next door to the Barry family. The Barry's are life-long friends. I remember Don and all of his projects. I especially enjoyed the basketball court which we also used to dance and play cards. My husband, Paul, and I remember his volunteer work as an usher at Blessed Sacrament Church. Don was a hard worker. He was a good provider for his family and a good neighbor. We extend heartfelt sympathies to the Barry and Lawler families. Love, Kathy and Paul

Laura and Family, You are in our thoughts and prayers as you go through this difficult time. You will have many wonderful memories and photos to reflect back on. Having recently lost my father unexpectedly, it brings to light exactly what a wonderful person who brought us into this world and how dearly missed they will be. God Bless you and your family.

Joe & Suzanne May

I grew up next door to the Don and Marion Barry family. Several of the Barry girls were close friends of my older sisters. Don spent a lot of his free time keeping his property ship shape. He enjoyed giving me a hard time about being a "professional student." If I grumbled about yard work for no pay, he would inquire if I had eaten that day. :) Our condolences to the entire Barry family on the loss of Don, a good man.

Love,

"The angels are always near to those who are grieving, to whisper to them that their loved ones are safe in the hand of God". ~ Eileen Elias Freeman

Wonderful memories growing up across the street and an alley away from Uncle Don and Aunt Marion and awesome cousins. Uncle Don never met a wall that couldn't use panelling. There are probably a few walls in Heaven getting panelled now. You will be missed greatly and thought of often.

Love,

Kathie, niece and goddaughter
