Donald Sherman Holley, of Williamsburg, born September 5, 1923, passed away on December 9, 2013 at the age of 90. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Ruby L. Holley, second wife, Elsie Holley and son, Donald S. Holley Jr.
Donald proudly served in the U.S. Army as a Staff Sergeant during the Vietnam War, earning the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal and the Air Force Medal for his service. He was a member of St. Martin's Episcopal Church, and enjoyed reading, fishing, hunting and gardening in his spare time.
He is survived by his son, Robert Carlton Holley and daughter-in-law, Nydia Holley.
A graveside service will be held at Hampton Memorial Gardens on Friday, December 13 at 1pm. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.nelsencares.com.
