Your daughter Susan

Hey Dad, just wanted to let you know how much I missed you. I sure would like to hear you say and furthermore. You would be so proud of Donald, He is holding up very well. Today he had some of the firefighters to the house, he was showing the pictures and telling the stories pretty much word for word as you had so many times. He has some really good friends there that are going to help be strong. You will be always in our heart, and thoughts. Love you

Don was an absolute inspiration for many of us on the Phoenix Fire Department. I was priviledged to work with Don for too short of a time.

The world was richer with Don in it....
And it is all the poorer with him gone.

Don was truly a "Quality individual!"

On behalf of the Phoenix Fire Department Administration and Member Services, we wish to extend our deepest condolences to the Mills family and friends on the loss of Don. He will be dearly missed by all of his fire department family.
