Captain Donald F. Richardson (Retired) USMC

Donald Forrest Richardson born on January 3rd 1924 departed this life and entered into eternal life on September 3rd 2013. In 1945 he married the love of his life, Pauline Bordeleau. He graduated from Lowell Tech, now known as University of Massachusetts Lowell, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Textile Engineering. He served our county proudly and with honors in the United States Marine Corp. He was a veteran of World War II, The Korean War and The Vietnam war. He was recently inducted into the Veterans Hall of Fame at his Alma Mater. Donald and Pauline had three sons whom they were very proud of Bruce, Dana, and Peter.
Donald spent many years in front of a loom, where he wove beautiful blankets that many people still enjoy. He loved baseball, golfing, and feeding the ducks with his grandchildren. Most recently Donald enjoyed visiting and teasing with the nurses and caregivers from Seasons Hospice.
Donald lost his beloved Pauline just a few short months ago and missed her very mush. He was also preceded in death by his youngest son Peter. He is survived by his two sons and daughters-in-laws, Bruce and Char Richardson of Camdenton, Missouri, and Dana and Tonya Richardson of the home, 6 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
Donald had a kind heart and infectious laugh that will be missed by all who knew him.
