Donna Koep Erickson (Danelke) was born September 14, 1934, in Leaf Mountain Township, Minnesota to William and Viola (Buse) Danelke. Donna was baptized and confirmed at Our Lady of Seven Dolors Catholic Church of Millerville, MN and graduated from Brandon High School at age 16. Donna's father built the statue, Our Lady of the Hills, overlooking the family farm northwest of Millerville. The statue was dedicated 25 years ago on May 13th, 1992 by her parents. The shrine was donated by Donna to Our Lady of Seven Dolors Catholic Church and was a source of spiritual strength and joy for Donna and her family.
She was united in marriage to Roger Koep, May 24, 1955. They were blessed with daughters Jodee and Sharon, and settled in Coon Rapids, MN where she resided until her death. Roger and Donna were active, lifelong founding members of Epiphany Catholic Church in Coon Rapids, MN. Their children attended the Epiphany Catholic School. Donna's Catholic faith was important to her and she shared this with her family. After a long illness, Roger passed away in August of 1986. She married Norman Erickson in November 1987. Norman passed away in July of 2004.
Donna worked for 20 years providing clerical services at the Anoka County Courthouse Human Services Division.
Donna's family was most important to her and her happiest times were with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She often bragged about her nine grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. She was very supportive of her family's needs, activities, and education; and loved to attend all the events. She will be greatly missed by her surviving family; daughters, Jodee (Kirk) Molitor and Sharon (Mark) Dickey; grandchildren: Angela (Stephen), Matthew (Joy), Alysha (Brian), Meghan (Josh) & Andrew Molitor and Danielle (Michael), Mark (Kaitlyn), John & Joseph Dickey; and 19 great-grandchildren; sisters, Betty (Ray) Klimek, Jorgene (Dan) Jensen, and Bonnie Danelke: also by many relatives and friends.

Hi, this is Judy Roers Anderson. I just learned of Donna's death today. She is my 1st cousin and so very sorry to hear of her passing. To her sisters, Betty, Jorgene and Bonnie, I am so very sorry for your loss. What memories though. I saw Donna last at her aunt's funeral in Alexandria, MN a few short years ago and so very happy to get to visit with her and Betty.
