Jim, My prayers were said for you on Sunday, as I could not attend the service. Life at times is so short, and clearly not to our expectations. I cannot imagine the loss of your best friend, confident, wife, mother and partner in life. My prayers for you are that you cherish her always in your heart and memories and never let go of her. She is with you eternally and will one day be back with you. Until then, live life to the best as she would want that, and talk to her daily. She will hold you up when you seem you cannot go on. Please keep the Faith in God that He needed her for some special reason, and it is known that you will continue to enjoy music, the Black Hawks and fishing with Donna at your side. Cherish the memories you had together forever my friend. You are truly loved and that is all we can ask for here on earth. God bless you with strength and happiness. Teri

Thank you all so very much. To those that could make the service and to those that could not. We all know the IT profession is not forgiving to going where you want when you want. HSBC systems had a big thing going on this weekend and Capital One systems also had much going on. I wanted to spend more time with everyone. I guess I didn't bring my A game as far as social graces go. It was so overwhelming. Mine and Donna's Kraft world colliding with our HSBC/Capital One world. I noticed some from each world talking to each other. It was just a daze but believe me it meant so much to me. Those that could come and those that could not but your words and prayers are very comforting.

To my brother - the most compassionate man I know. You loved Donna with your whole heart and soul. You only had her for a short time, but you are blessed with many wonderful memories -- a few of which you shared with us. May God bless you all, and give you the strength you will need in the coming days.

When I think about Donna, I think about her feisty energy and exuberant expression. She loved the world as an artist would yet worked like a no-nonsense pro; nose to the grindstone. She overcame a lot of what life threw at her and didn't use it as a crutch. She was a strong one. As my Spiegel friends would say,"A little piece of leather, well put together". I will miss her as a fishing partner and my tell-it-like-it is friend. And will not get over her passing soon, if ever.

Although no words can really help to ease the loss you bear, just know that you are very close in every thought and prayer.

I Did Not Die
Do not stand at my grave and weep;
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn's rain,
When you awaken in the morning's hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die.

The picture of Donna here is her sitting in the Cubs dugout at Wrigley Field. She loved her Blackhawks and Cubs but for obvious reasons she didn't wear her Cub fandom on her sleeve as much like she did the Hawks. She loved em but she was mad at them.
