Donna Mae (Pope) Kopeschka, 89, Kokomo, Indiana, passed away on Monday, April 21, 2014, at Community Howard Regional Hospital in Kokomo. She was born January 6, 1925, in Trimont, Minnesota, to Ted Pope and Bertha (Olson) Lohmiller. On March 2, 1941, in Hampton, Iowa, she married Wilbur E. Kopeschka, and he preceded her in death on October 20, 1992. She was a co-founder of Treasure Mart in Kokomo, and she worked at Delco Electronics, also in Kokomo. She was a courageous survivor of breast cancer, and she loved caring for her family and cooking, especially Easter dinners. She is survived by two sons, Brian (Doris) Kopeschka, and Kevin...

She was a co-founder of Treasure Mart in Kokomo, and she worked at Delco Electronics, also in Kokomo. She was a courageous survivor of breast cancer, and she loved caring for her family and cooking, especially Easter dinners.

She is survived by two sons, Brian (Doris) Kopeschka, and Kevin Kopeschka; one daughter, Pamela Kopeschka, all of Kokomo; six grandchildren, Amy (Keith) Bliss, Megan Scott, Zach Kopeschka, Sarah Kopeschka, Josh Kopeschka, and Amber (John) Granson; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and one brother, Richard Pope, Trimont, Minnesota.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Geraldine Johnson.

Visitation will be from 12 to 1 p.m. Wednesday at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home, 2097 W. Alto Rd., Kokomo, IN 46902, with entombment to follow in Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to . Messages of condolence may be expressed online at www.sunsetmemorygarden.com.
