Donna Purmort, age 53, of Covington, passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2012. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. at Horis A. Ward, Rockdale Chapel, in Conyers.
Mrs. Purmort retired from the Department of Corrections after 25 years of service. She is survived by her husband, Marlin G. Purmort; son, Tony and Erica Childs; mother, Dorothy Thompson; sister, Sandy Banks and Mark Campbell; brother, Kim and Yvonne Thompson; nephews, Eric and Monica Thompson, Matt and Angela Thompson; step-son, Richard and Ryanne Purmort; grandchildren, Sarah, Pierce, and Parris Purmort.
