Hi Mom,
I am thinking of you and missing you. I can't call and ask for one of those recipes (that I've lost) that I asked you for at least a million times. I am glad you are now with Daddy and in peace. I love you. Monica

I will miss my Nonna so much. She devoted her life to her family, she was generous and loving and was always there for us when we needed her. I have wonderful memories of traveling Europe with her as a child and her teaching me the Italian culture, Christmas gatherings where she would tell everyone not to get her any gifts then get something special for everyone, and innumerable big family dinners where she took joy and pride in cooking the most wonderful pasta and minestrone I've ever had. I will miss the strong wonderful spunky woman that her grandchildren all know as Nonna. Ti amo Nonna cara mia.

I always loved her stories she would tell and the way her home smelled like Italian tomato pasta sauce. I'll miss you and keep the memories in my heart, Nonna. Riposa in pace.

My grandmother was a strong, amazing woman. She raised me and from her I learned how to be the strong (and stubborn) person I am today. I will miss her everyday but will always keep the good memories in my heart. May she finally rest in peace and be reunited with the rest of her family that she longed to be with. I love you Nonna.
