Winter Haven- Doris Kitchens Siler, age 88, passed away March 28, 2015. She was born November 21, 1926 in Winter Haven, FL the daughter of Robert Kitchens and Mattie Mills Kitchens. She worked for the Polk County School Board, was an Administrative Assistant for the Polk County Property Appraiser's Office and a faithful caregiver to her husband.
In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by her husband Samuel B. Siler, Jr. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Joy and Charles Spencer, granddaughter: Kaley Tomasky, grandson: Samuel Tomasky, and siblings: Annette Breitenbach of Lakeland, Betty Scott of Panama City, Carlene Smith of Defuniak Springs, Cecil Kitchens of Winter Haven, Richard Kitchens of Lakeland and Robert Kitchens of Winter Haven.
Visitation is Tuesday, March 31, 2015 from 2-3pm with funeral services at 3pm, both at Ott-Laughjlin Funeral Home, Winter Haven.
