Doris Pena Culbertson, 80, of Baytown passed away March 30, 2015. Doris was born January 28, 1935 in Falls City, Texas to Benito and Dolores Pena. Known to her family and friends as "Bebe," she was the youngest of nine children. Doris grew up in Anson, Texas and moved to Baytown in her teenage years. She lived and traveled in North Carolina, California, and Germany before returning and settling down in Baytown.
Doris was preceded in death by her parents, six of her siblings and by her beloved daughter, Darlene Culbertson Abad. She is survived by brother, Benito Pena and sister, Margarita Sanchez.
Doris is survived by daughters, Ina Cabral and her husband JV, Trula Sattelmaier and her husband James, Shirley Koester and her husband John; and son, Horacio Molina and his wife Jennifer. Doris is also survived by grandchildren, Jennifer Bernard, Brian and Keith Sattelmaier, Eric Martinez, Peter and Gabriel Juarez, Abegail Granville and Vincent Molina; great grand-children, Trent and Colin Muckleroy, Ashtyn and Cade Sattelmaier, Wyatt and Rylie Martinez, and Rodney and Romeo Granville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A special thank you to Maria Guzman for her years of dedication and loving care of our mother.
The family will recieve friends on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Earthman Funeral Home with a rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Earthman Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 8624 Garth Road, Baytown, TX.
