Doris E. Weisbrod, 90, of Country Meadows of Hershey, formerly of Linglestown, PA, passed away on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at the Hershey Medical Center. Born in Harrisburg on April 4, 1924, she was the daughter of the late John and Esther Pierce, and the widow of the late Harry Weisbrod.
Doris was a graduate of the former John Harris High School, class of 1942. She retired from Penn National Insurance, where she worked as an Executive Secretary. She was a member of Crosspoint United Methodist Church and volunteered for many years at Villa Teresa Nursing Home and Community General Osteopathic Hospital.
Surviving are her daughter, Diane L., wife of David L. Fleig; her grandchildren: Tricia L. , wife of Joseph Macri, and Brian L. ,husband of Jennifer Fleig; and great grandchildren, Tyler and Carly Fleig.
A private family service was held on Friday, April 18, 2014 at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Harrisburg, PA.

Thoughts and prayers to the family as you grieve the loss of Aunt Dottie. I will always remember her soft spoken, pleasant disposition. Gladys (mom) and I will miss her at the Soroptimist Fashion shows!
