Dorothy " Dot" Haile Bowery, 86, of Springmoor Retirement Center, Raleigh died Saturday, January 19, 2013. Mrs. Bowery was born in Richmond, VA on January 28, 1926 to Willoughby Newton Haile and Stella Owen Haile.
She is survived by her son, Wayne Bowery and wife, Debbie of Burlington, NC; daughter, Karen Bowery of Raleigh; grandson, Tyler Bowery and fiancée, Kristina Eller of Charlotte, NC.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Friday, January 25, 2013 at Springmoor Retirement Center. The family will receive friends following the service.
Those considering memorial contribution may make them to Second Chance Pet Adoption, 6003 Chapel Hill Road Raleigh, NC 27607.

We enjoyed visiting her in Raleigh and she was never without a smile, witty conversation and a hug. She was a very special lady and will always be remembered.
