Dorothy M. Alexander, age 78 passed away on March 12, 2017 in Nashville, TN. Preceded in death by her parents, Worte Bethel and Edna Earl Williamson and loving husband Roy T. Alexander.
Survived by son, Roy “Chip” (Vina) Alexander Jr.; daughter, Tammi (Ken) DeJarnette; two brothers, E.L. (Linda) Maynard and Gary Maynard; sisters, Elise (Charles) Banner and Peggy Jackson; grandchildren, Christian (Kaci) and Danielle DeJarnette, Kristen (Michael) Cox, Thomas, Adalynne and Kaitlynne Alexander and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Dorothy served as a Girl Scout Leader for many years, and enjoyed camping and the outdoors.
Celebration of Life Service will be March 16, 2017, Thursday at eleven thirty in the morning, Woodlawn’s Dignity Hall. Gathering of family and friends, Wednesday from four o’clock until seven o’clock at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home, and from ten o’clock until service time on Thursday.
