Hamilton, Dorothy M., 94, went to be with her Heavenly Father on November 27, 2016. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a member of Walnut Street Baptist Church for 40 years. She worked at American Standard. After retirement, she then volunteered with Walnut Street Baptist Christian Ministries for 10 years.
She was preceded in death by her two sons, John C. Hamilton II and Gary L. Hamilton.
Those left to cherish her memory include her grandsons, John C. Hamilton III and Edward J. Hamilton; 2 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service will be Saturday at 12:00pm at Evergreen Funeral Home. Visitation will be Saturday from 11:00am until service time. Burial will be private at Cave Hill Cemetery.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of memorial contributions to Walnut Street Baptist Television Ministries.
