Many years ago Walter and Dorothy Barr came to Massena to play badminton. My husband, Carl, and I also played, but Walt and Dorothy were "pros" compared to most of us! We enjoyed their company and had many good times together. (This was in the late 1940's.) May God give you His comfort in her death. Sincerely, Elsie G. Scruggs, Massena, NY

Aunt Dot was the greatest! She was always happy and kind to everyone. The only time I ever saw her frown was if I was rotten to someone else. She was as wonderful a mother as you were a son. I am very proud of the care you gave her and can only hope my children are as good to me. You are a very strong man Casey Barr. I love and miss Aunt Dot.

Casey,
I cannot begin to tell you how sorry I am for your loss. I know it is a blessing and certainly was expected. She had a beautiful life and you provided her with a wonderful journey through the end of her life. Thank you so much for letting me be part of that journey - your mom taught me so many things and gave me memories I will treasure forever. I believe your mom will live on a little bit in everyone she has ever touched. Give Kid a pet for me and have a nice ride when everything settles down - you deserve a nice relaxing break. Again, I send you my condolences and want you to know I am thinking of you.
