Dorothy Jean (Price)Barron died Aug 16, 2013 surrounded by her children at Florida Hospital in Ormond Beach, Florida. She was 92 years old. She was the daughter of Glen and Agnes Price and was born in Edgerton, Wisconsin on December 28,1920. She graduated from Edgerton High School in 1938. She was a music major granduating from the University of Wisconsin in Madison in 1942. Dorothy married John Barron in 1944 and they were long time Edgerton residents. John was a World War II veteran and had just recently died in July. Dorothy was a long time member of St Joseph's Catholic Church and served for many years as the church's...

She was the daughter of Glen and Agnes Price and was born in Edgerton, Wisconsin on December 28,1920. She graduated from Edgerton High School in 1938. She was a music major granduating from the University of Wisconsin in Madison in 1942. Dorothy married John Barron in 1944 and they were long time Edgerton residents. John was a World War II veteran and had just recently died in July. Dorothy was a long time member of St Joseph's Catholic Church and served for many years as the church's organist. She is survived by her 6 children: John Stephen(Donna Porter), Jeffrey(Dianna Halversen), Susan(Phil)Engen, Jean(Bruce)Skrine Patricia(Dennis)Doty and Daniel(Mary Uhnken). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Dorothy is survived by her sister, Marjorie and was preceded in death by a sister, Mildred and a brother, Clifford. A funeral service will be on Monday, Aug 19 at Volusia Memorial Funeral Home and burial at Jacksonville National Cemetery in Jacksonville, Fla.
