Dorothy Patricia Barron COLUMBIA - Pat Barron, 76, passed away on Monday, December 3, 2012 after a 2 year battle with leukemia. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 8, 2012 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Irmo/St. Andrews Chapel, 5400 Bush River Road, Columbia, SC 29212. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home. Born in England, she moved to Columbia in 1989. Pat was predeceased by her husband of 53 years, Jim and her beloved grandson, Nick. COLUMBIA - Pat Barron, 76, passed away on Monday, December 3, 2012 after a 2 year battle with leukemia. Born in England, she moved to Columbia in 1989. Pat was predeceased by her husband of 53 years, Jim and her beloved grandson, Nick.
She leaves behind, to cherish her memory, her twin sister, Ann Low; children, John (Ann), David (Julia) and daughter, Ann Cromer (Stan), grandchildren, Heidi Watkinson (Craig) and Ryan Cromer and great-grandchildren, Erin and Morgan.
She made many friends during her stay in Columbia, especially the wonderful group at Seven Oaks Recreation Center, who will miss her energy and unique sense of humor. Special thanks to Doctor Asheesh Lal and Myrah Hawkins of Lexington Oncology.
