Brown, Dorothy Amy (nee Whitehead)
On April 10, 2014at Regina Gardens in her 92nd year. Predeceased by her beloved husband Will. Loved by her children, David and Janice; Grandchildren Michelle and Adam, Tyler,Trevor and Lindsay, Aislynn and Steve; great grandchildren Brenda, Cameron, Krista, Donavan and Hayden. Dorothy was a member of Laidlaw United Church. A life member and past president of Laidlaw U.C.W., past chair of Church Council, Charter member of Claremont Chapter IODE, life member of Provincial Chapter of Ontario IODE. Predeceased by her parents Herbert and Helena Whitehead and brother Frank. She leaves her sister in law Marjorie and her dear family, who were all so supportive, loving and loved. The Agnew family, nieces and nephews of the Chesney and Brown families, all who were much loved by their Aunt Dot. The McCauley family who were much loved for their devotion. Cremation has taken place as requested by Dorothy. A memorial reception will be held at CRESMOUNT UPPER JAMES CHAPEL, 1020 Upper James Street, on Tuesday, April 15 from 2-4 p.m. with Words of Remembrance at 4 p.m.
