Dorothy Sloane, age 93 of Beavercreek, passed away Monday, May 12, 2014 at her home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lionel Sloane. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Miller and Sidney Smith, four sisters: Faye, Carolyn, Pearl and Dora, and a brother, Herschel Smith. She is survived by a sister, Norma Haines, a brother, Frank Smith and numerous nieces and nephews and other family members. Friends may call at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME Beavercreek Chapel, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd. at Grange Hall on Saturday evening, May 17 from 5-7- PM. Funeral services will be held at 7 PM with Pastor Don Payne officiating. Interment will be held privately in Miami Valley Memory Gardens.

I always enjoyed Mrs. Sloane's visits with her numerous dogs over the years! She loved her dogs and took awesome care of them.
