Dorothy B. Stewart, age 87 of the Demot Road, Ogdensburg passed away on Saturday (Nov 8, 2014) at Claxton Hepburn Medical Center with her son Michael Chropcho & his wife Rosie by her side. There will be no public services.

Dorothy was born on January 27, 1927 in Wilkes-Barre, PA a daughter of the late Joseph & Eva (Burns) Balleck. She graduated from GAR High School and later married Michael Chropcho Sr. He predeceased her in 1970. She later married Alexander Stewart, and he resides in Daytona Beach, FL. She was a sister to Helen Brezok and Marie Beteria and a grandmother to Michael & Tyler Lameroux and Michelle Chropcho. Dorothy worked as a waitress at the Waterbury Country Club to 20+ years and she enjoyed traveling, target shooting, deer hunting and spending time with her family.
