She is preceded in death by husband, Murphy Weeks Sr., Sons, Donald Joe and Craig Weeks, and grandson Charles R. "Chuck" Weeks, Jr. Parents G.C. and Malissia Conerly. She is survived by Sons, Murphy N. Weeks, Jr. and wife Dorothy of Blanchard, Charles R. Weeks, Sr. and wife Sudie of Toledo Bend, Daughters Melissa and Gloria Weeks of Anacoco. She is survived by Sons, Murphy N. Weeks, Jr. and wife Dorothy of Blanchard, Charles R. Weeks, Sr. and wife Sudie of Toledo Bend, Daughters Melissa and Gloria Weeks of Anacoco. Many Grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews, 1 niece, and a host of friends and relatives.
Dorothy was a member of Holly Grove United Methodist Church. She loved her family and church family dearly. Dorothy loved to quilt and read and she enjoyed spending most of her time with her family.
Visitation will be at Hixson Funeral Home Friday June 15th from Noon till 10 PM. Visitation will be held Saturday June 16th from 10 AM until time of service at 2 PM at Holly Grove Church. Service to be held Saturday June 16th at 2 PM at Holly Grove Church in Anacoco. Burial to follow at Church Cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home of Leesville, LA.
