Dorothy Ann "Dottie" Prichard, 79, of Brunswick, departed this life Monday, November 21, 2016 at Hospice of The Golden Isles. Funeral services will be held at 11AM Saturday, November 26, 2016 in the chapel of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home with Scott Infante officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery with Daniel Prichard, Rodney Infante, Matthew Prichard, Andrew Prichard, Anna Prichard, and David S. Prichard serving as pallbearers.
Born April 25, 1937 to the late Glenn R. and Louise H. Johnston, she was a retired program coordinator for Gateway Behavioral Services. Mrs. Prichard had been a resident of Glynn County since 2005 and was a member of North Island Church. She enjoyed SHOPPING!!, crafts, and cooking. As a pastor's wife, Dottie was also involved in many ministries, and known for her counseling, serving, and loving. She always left her signature with a ?. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold T. Prichard, and a brother, Jim Johnston.
Survivors include her children, David Prichard and wife Cathy of Westminster, CO, Jane Infante and husband Scott of Brunswick, and Mark Prichard and wife Karla of Guyton, 11 grandchildren, David Samuel, Helena, Emily, Daniel, Sarah, Rachel, Abby, Rodney, Matthew, Andrew, and Anna, 10 great grandchildren, a brother, Glenn R. Johnston, Jr. and wife Marie of Harrisburg, PA, two sisters, Sally Bloodsworth and husband Harry of Tallahassee, FL, and Jane Howarth and husband Jack of West Chester, PA, and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Friday evening, November 25, 2016 from 6PM until 8PM at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home. www.edomillerandsons.com
