Douglas "Bones" Barnard age 49 of Thorn Hill, TN passed away Monday August 30, 2010 at Morristown Hamblen Healthcare System after a brief illness. He was a member of Union Missionary Baptist Church and former employee of Clinch Mountain Transport. He was preceded in death by his father Earl "Brud" Barnard, grandparents Wilson and Dexter Turnmire and J.W. and Jessie Barnard and uncle Jack Stapleton. Survived by son: Alan Barnard and fiancé Tabitha Brooks of the home
Mother: Maebelle Barnard of ThornHill, TN
Brothers: Lynn Barnard and Dennis Barnard of ThornHill, TN
Sister: Sandy Johnson and husband Chad of Morristown, TN
Also survived by aunts , uncles , cousins and many good friends
The family will receive friends 5-9pm Wednesday September 1st at the Coffey Funeral Home in New Tazewell. Funeral service will be 2:00pm Thursday September 2nd at the Coffey Funeral Home Chapel in New Tazewell, burial in the Allen McCoy Cemetery .
