Mrs. Dual Rhoads Stewart (Dudy), passed away February 25, 2014 in Newton, Texas where she had been living for a year after leaving Midland, her home for more than 50 years. She was born in Mounds, Oklahoma May 25, 1920. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Arthur Frank Stewart (Skeet), brothers Connie Rhoads and Thearon Rhoads and sister Billy Eatherly List. She is survived by her daughter Patty Lynn Stewart of Augusta, Georgia, granddaughter Shellie Hines and husband Nathan of Newton Texas, grandson Paul Burks and wife Barbie of Augusta, Georgia and brother L.C. Rhoads of Lecompton, Kansas. Also surviving are great...
Mrs. Dual Rhoads Stewart (Dudy), passed away February 25, 2014 in Newton, Texas where she had been living for a year after leaving Midland, her home for more than 50 years. She was born in Mounds, Oklahoma May 25, 1920.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Arthur Frank Stewart (Skeet), brothers Connie Rhoads and Thearon Rhoads and sister Billy Eatherly List.
She is survived by her daughter Patty Lynn Stewart of Augusta, Georgia, granddaughter Shellie Hines and husband Nathan of Newton Texas, grandson Paul Burks and wife Barbie of Augusta, Georgia and brother L.C. Rhoads of Lecompton, Kansas. Also surviving are great grandchildren Sara Hardage, Daniel Hardage and Ryan Burks.
The family extends their thanks to the staff at Shady Acres Health and Rehabilitation Center in Newton for their care over the last year and to the Salgado family in Midland for their love and care for Dudy over many years.
