A neighbor and sailing enthusitiast that took me under his wing to educate me about sailing in Biscayne Bay. On his bike every weekend, with his sailing gear, and headed down 24th Avenue to Coconut Grove and his Bahama sailboat.

Doug was not only a terrific educator but a dear friend as well for over 35 years. I met Doug in 1975 when I stopped by Broward Community College to learn about the pest control program everyone was talking about. Doug and I hit it off immediately because of our military experiences. He assisted me and so many other people throughout the years. Many that went into the pest control industry and became successful was because of Doug Palmer. He will be missed by all.
Rest in Peace my dear friend. Adiós mi amigo.
