Dwight L. Fulton Jr., 96, of Marblehead, passed away on March 20, 2013. He was the husband of the late Florence (Broyer) Fulton with whom he shared 57 years of marriage. Born in Peabody, he was the son of the late Dwight L. and Evelyn (Thurston) Fulton Sr.
Raised and educated in Marblehead, he was a graduate of Marblehead High School. Dwight enlisted with the United States Navy serving with the Seabees during WWII in the Philippine and New Guinea Islands. He worked with his father as a painting contractor for Dwight L. Fulton and Sons in Marblehead for many years.
He was a member of the Philanthropic Masonic Lodge in Marblehead. Dwight spent time at the family cottage in Acton, Maine where he was an avid hunter and enjoyed fishing. He was also an active member at St. Stephen's United Methodist Church in Marblehead.
He is survived by two sons, Mark J. Fulton and his significant other Linda LeRoy of Marblehead, and Kelvin R. Fulton of Tewksbury; one granddaughter, Heather Marie Fulton of Grafton; and a cousin, Jeanne Fulton of Nova Scotia. He also leaves a niece and several nephews.
A funeral service will be held at St. Stephen's United Methodist Church, 67 Cornell Road, Marblehead on Tuesday, March 26 at 11AM. Interment with honors to follow in Waterside Cemetery, Marblehead. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be held at Eustis and Cornell Funeral Home, 142 Elm Street, Marblehead on Monday from 4-8PM. A Masonic Service will begin at 7PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dwight's memory to St. Stephen's United Methodist Church, 67 Cornell Road, Marblehead, MA 01945.

Remembering your dad with fondness. He, your mom, Glenn, Millie, and my parents enjoyed socializing on several occasions. They seemed to have such fun.
