An Irish toast:
May neighbours respect you,
Trouble neglect you,
The angels protect you,
And heaven accept you.

Alan was a great neighbour. We will always remember learning to swim in his pool.

Good friends are much like flowers,
That are hand picked for the way
They make us feel to have them,
Adding sunshine to our day.
Each bloom has its own beauty
Quite unique all by itself
Yet group a bunch together
And you've gathered
Quite a wealth.
Of the best things that can happen
To enrich our lives anew
Of all the friends I've picked in life
I'm glad that I picked you.
We met so many years ago at RCL 258 & I have truly enjoyed tending to your gardens for so many years. I extend my sympathies to your family & friends. God bless.

Alan: You put your heart into everything you did. I remember how hard you worked for the White Elephant stall at the McLeod House bazaar. I appreciated that. In recent years you let nothing hold you back. I am proud that you are part of the mosaic of friends who make up my life.

Rest in Peace

Alan was a constant fixture at RCL Branch 258. We called him smiley as he usually had a smile on his face. He will be missed. May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
