Edith Alpert, 83 of Spring Lake Heights died Wednesday at home.
She was born in New York City, NY and lived in Piscataway for 30 years before moving to Spring Lake Heights 21 years ago.
Mrs. Alpert was a manager for AT & T in Piscataway for 20 years before retiring in 1990.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Norman, her son Mitchel B. Alpert M.D. and his wife Debra, her daughter Susan Alpert- Lesser, three grandsons, Justin Alpert, M.D., Jason Alpert, and Jeremy Lesser.
Chapel services at 10:00am Friday from the Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, 2130 State Highway #35 Ocean, NJ. Shiva will be observed at the Alpert residence in Spring Lake Heights.
