I would like to extend my condolences to the family during this time of bereavement. Edward was my first cousin. And although I didn't know him that well, I knew that Uncle Ross and Aunt Bessie were very proud of him. I was closer in age to Rick and we use to play together as kids. I have great memories of those days when the Wade clan gathered and shared meals together.
When I lived in Lexington, I did talk to Edward a couple of times. And I know that he loved Elaine with all of his heart.
May God bless you all and may His love sustain you during this time.

Our Love and Sympathy to each of you. We loved Dr. Ed and enjoyed the time he spent with us as our Minister of Music. He returned often to support us in our endeavors. He truly will be missed and our hearts are broken. We have lost a dear friend and a great music scholar. God bless. Louise Wise for Cayce First Baptist Church, 600 Holland Avenue, Cayce, SC.
