Earl F. Bowlen, 92, passed away April 24, 2017 at his home in Wichita Falls. Earl was born February 17, 1925 to Jess and Amanda Bowlen. He married the love of his life, Ann Mummert, January 24, 1964, and immediately became "Dad" to her three boys, Danny, Don and David. His family was complete with his two children, Judy and Ronnie, and Danny, Don and David.
Ann preceded him in death in June 2012. He was employed by Burlington Northern Railroad in July 1947 and retired in April 1987. He and Ann loved to be in the company of their family and their great group of friends.
Preceding him in death are his beloved wife Ann, his parents, his brother Robert, daughter Judy and grandson Cody. He leaves behind his sons, Ronnie of Amarillo, Danny and wife Beverly of Wichita Falls, Don and wife Stephanie of Dallas, David and wife Sheri of Wichita Falls; twelve grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 11:00 AM Friday, May 19, 2017 at the Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home Chapel. Inurnment will follow at Crestview Memorial Park. A visitation will be from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Thursday evening at Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home.
